After Alice said "I never thought that I would say this, but I think you should start a blog," I knew that I had to do it. So here it is. More coming soon....

I'll be reading you!!!! Can't wait to hear your adventures, great idea to have a blog :)
Hooray blog! I can't wait to see pictures in France. As I read your quote, I thought "that sounds like 'Stranger Than Fiction" and sure enough, it was!
Looking forward to future posts! Btw, I got an outfit yesterday to go with those green and brown shoes you gave me that the boys couldn't appreciate. It's a white blouse with a round collar and puffy sleeves with a brown, high-waisted pleated full skirt. I love it; I'm wearing the whole ensemble right now! I feel like I should be dancing with Gene Kelly beside the Seine. :)
"As Harold took a bite of Bavarian sugar cookie, he finally felt as if everything was going to be ok. Sometimes, when we lose ourselves in fear and despair, in routine and constancy, in hopelessness and tragedy, we can thank God for Bavarian sugar cookies. And, fortunately, when there aren't any cookies, we can still find reassurance in a familiar hand on our skin, or a kind and loving gesture, or subtle encouragement, or a loving embrace, or an offer of comfort, not to mention hospital gurneys and nose plugs, an uneaten Danish, soft-spoken secrets, and Fender Stratocasters, and maybe the occasional piece of fiction. And we must remember that all these things, the nuances, the anomalies, the subtleties, which we assume only accessorize our days, are effective for a much larger and nobler cause. They are here to save our lives." - Stranger than Fiction

Hi Elizabeth!
I heard about the new chapter in your life from Jess. How very exciting; can't wait to see what unfolds (or rises?).
While we're on food blogs in Paris, here's one I think you might enjoy, in case you haven't already run across it: http://chocolateandzucchini.com/
Good luck!
